The Sneha Karma Foundation Newsletter
The Sneha Karma Foundation newsletter is our quarterly letter to you. Four times a year, in a few quiet minutes, we show how our skills development program helps girls and women learn marketable trades, grow in confidence, and build careers. It often begins in school: we support them through their academic education, walking beside girls from the classroom to their first job. You will also meet the underprivileged women of ArtisansDirect, whether or not they have had formal schooling, who earn a dignified livelihood from their craft. We stay by their side through every season of their lives, cheering them on as they grow into confident, independent women. And we believe in total transparency: each edition shows exactly where your hard-earned money and volunteered time are making a difference. No spam, ever, and you can leave any time. Kindness, shared regularly, becomes change.
“Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present.”
Albert Camus
Philosopher

Frequently asked questions
How often do you send?
Only occasionally — meaningful updates, not a flood of email.
Can I manage my preferences?
Yes. Every email includes a link to update your preferences or unsubscribe.
Why it is worth your inbox
Many people want to help but are not sure how, and a good newsletter answers that quietly and regularly. Ours is written for supporters who want more than a headline — the stories behind the programs, the honest reality of work in rural India, and simple ways to contribute. It is a small thread connecting you to girls and women thousands of miles away, and to a community that shares your belief.
What you can do from here
Once you are subscribed, you might forward an issue to a friend, respond with a question, or act on a giving or volunteering opportunity. Some of our most committed supporters began with a single forwarded email. Your inbox can be a quiet engine of change — or a source of occasional, genuine good news. We would be honoured to be the latter.
Why our newsletter matters
A good newsletter answers the quiet question many supporters have: how can I help?
It keeps you connected to real girls and real progress.
It shares honest updates, including the difficult parts.
It offers simple ways to give, volunteer or raise funds.
It respects your inbox and never shares your details.
What this involves
We send occasional issues with field stories and updates.
You receive clear, low-effort ways to contribute.
You can manage preferences or unsubscribe in one click.
You join a community that shares one belief about girls’ futures.
The difference it makes
Everything here serves one purpose: giving underprivileged girls and women the same opportunity as anyone else — to learn, to earn and to decide their own future. Every hour, rupee and effort is measured against that standard. Because we are volunteer-led with overhead under 10%, your involvement goes further than you might expect, and its effect shows in a real life rather than a line item.
Frequently asked questions
How often will you email?
Only occasionally — meaningful updates, not a flood.
Small, consistent support is what makes lasting change possible. Whether it is a monthly gift, an hour of your skills, or a fundraiser shared with friends, every contribution extends our reach to one more girl. Because we are volunteer-led and keep overhead under 10%, your involvement goes further than you might expect — and its effect shows in a real life, not a line item.
We keep ours short, honest and useful. There are no inflated metrics and no constant appeals — only the real work, described plainly: girls kept in school, women who began earning, and the occasional setback we would rather you learned from us than discovered elsewhere. If a supporter reads one issue and understands our work better, it has done its job.
Frequently asked questions
Can I suggest a story?
Yes — reply to any issue with a question or idea; we read every response.
Do you sell my email?
Never. Your details are yours alone.
Can I share an issue?
Please do — forwarding our newsletter is one of the easiest ways to help.
